11 April 2022: Out of 382 candidates who have applied for acceptance into the MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance with a start in September 2022, a total of 65 candidates have been admitted to the special master this year: 27 candidates have been admitted directly based on an excellent application and 36 after an interview (out of 70 interviews). 53 candidates have accepted the offer.
6 April 2022: We are glad to announce that our MScQF alumnus Francesco Ferrari won the runners up prize at the Swiss Derivatives Awardsfor category "Research award". The award was given for his master's thesis "Pricing Autocallables in a Heston-like Local-Stochastic Volatility Model", written under the advisorship of Prof. Dr. Erich Walter Farkas and Urban Ulrych. The administration of the MScQF program congratulates Francesco for this amazing achievement and wishes him all the best in his future career.

19 April 2021: Out of the 346 candidates, who have applied for acceptance into the MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance starting in September 2021, a total of 68 candidates have been admitted to the special master this year: 34 candidates have been admitted directly based on an excellent application and 34 after an interview (out of 65 interviews). 53 candidates have accepted the offer.
31 March 2021: Ricardo Tegazi - alumnus of our program - has won the Plexus Advancement Award for Artificial Intelligence in the financial Sector 2020 with his Master's Thesis "Machine Learning in International Asset Pricing". Congratulations!
6 January 2021: MScQF UZH ETH reaches again top position at the Risk.net Quant Finance Master's Guide 2021: Number 4 worldwide and best program in Europe.
16 September 2020: 18 students joined the 2020 class of MScQF UZH ETH, a smaller number as usual due to the Coronavirus pandemia.
15 April 2020: 294 candidates have applied for acceptance into the MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance starting in September 2020. In total 43 candidates have been admitted to the special master this year: 20 candidates have been admitted directly based on an excellent application and 23 after an interview (out of 46 interviews).
20 November 2019: About 30 students had the opportunity to visit our industry partner Axpo Solutions AG in Baden. During the afternoon several presentations were hold by Axpo Solutions, the Trading Floor and the Trading Dispatch Center were shown to us and the visit was ended by a very nice apéro.
16 September 2019: 28 students joined the 2019 class of the MSc QF UZH ETH
9 April 2019: 241 candidates have applied for acceptance into the MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance starting in September 2019. In total 50 candidates have been admitted to the special master this year: 25 candidates have been admitted directly based on an excellent application and 25 after an interview (out of 45 interviews).
21 January 2019: MSc QF UZH ETH reaches top position in the ranking of Risk.net Quant Finance Master's Guide 2019: Number 6 worldwide and best program in Europe!
17 September 2018: 22 students joined the 2018 class of the MSc QF UZH ETH
3 April 2018: 218 candidates have applied for acceptance into the MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance starting in September 2018. In total 31 candidates have been admitted to the special master this year: 16 candidates have been admitted directly based on an excellent application and 15 after an interview (out of 25 interviews).
2 October 2017: 32 students joined the 2017 class of the MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance.
13 March 2017: 199 candidates have applied for a place of study in the MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance starting in September 2017. 21 candidates were admitted directly and 56 candidates were invited for the interview.
12 September 2016: 33 students joined the new class of MSc QF UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance.
