Register for Graduation

Once you have earned all the credits according to the Program Regulation you can register for graduation. The Dean's office is responsible for the graduation procedure. Thus, for all questions regarding graduation, please contact the Dean's office.

• Registration must be done in the "Study Progress & Graduation App" in the UZH Student Portal. This is possible once all grades and ECTS are available in the app, including the Master's thesis. Information on using the app

The final grade will be a weighted average (based on the corresponding ECTS credit points) of the grades obtained from the courses and from the Master's thesis.

The diploma will be a joint diploma awarded by the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. There will be three documents: an academic record, a diploma and a diploma supplement.
