Curriculum and Creditsystem

The program comprises core courses, elective courses and a master's thesis.

There is a rich list of elective courses being part of the program. Students may submit petitions to transfer credits from courses that are not part of the degree program - so called external credits.

Any course of the program is part of one of the 2 areas.

Each student needs to acquire at least 90 ECTS credit points as follows:

Required Total ECTS Credits

Core courses: 33 ECTS Credits, at least 9 from each area EF and MF

Elective courses: 27 ECTS Credits, at least 9 from each area EF and MF

Master's Thesis: 30 ECTS

Core courses: 36 ECTS Credits, at least 12 from each area FIN and MF

Elective courses: 24 ECTS Credits, at least 9 from each area FIN and MF

Master's Thesis: 30 ECTS

  If a student has acquired more than 33 ECTS credit points from the core courses, his additional points can only be credited to the elective courses (only complete modules). If a student has acquired more than 36 ECTS credit points from the core courses, his additional points can only be credited to the elective courses (only complete modules).

Master's Thesis can only be repeated once
